Winter Field Day - Save the Date
Marlborough’s annual winter field day will be held from noon to 4pm on Wednesday, 31 May at Matador Estate. Growers, vineyard managers and operators, labour contractors and pruning teams, this is a practical session designed to support vineyard decision-making and activities on vineyard over winter
Soil Health Field Day
We'll hear from the vineyard manager of Park Orchard Vineyards on applying compost on a smaller scale. We'll also hear from Hortex contracting on application spreading.
Hear from the soil experts at Soil Matters on how to improve soil structure and increase vine health & performance.
Wholesale Landscapes by Azwood will also be sharing insights into sustainable practices of repurposing grape marc at your vineyards.

Grafting presentation
Expert Grafter Stefano Vezza will be in Blenheim for a theoretical and practical presentation of T-Bud and Chip-Bud grafting at the New Zealand Wine Centre - Te Pokapū Wāina o Aotearoa.

Awatere Wētā Meeting
A three-year research project is now underway in the region to study the ground wētā in our Awatere vineyards. Join Bragato Research Institute on September 1 from 2-4pm at Yealands Awatere Memorial Hall, to hear about the study and how to get involved.
2022 Young Vit National Final Competition
Recognising that great wines begin in the vineyard, the Corteva Young Viticulturist of the Year competition celebrates the future of viticulture. The 2022 National Final will be held in Marlborough on Tuesday 30th August which will also bring Toitu & Technology – Preparing For the Future Viticulture Conference and the 2022 Young Vit National Final Awards Dinner events to Marlborough on Wednesday 31st August.
