What areas of winemaking need more research?
BRI will be hosting a group discussion workshop from 10am-2pm on 25 January at the Research Winery to help inform our next wave of wine science research. We encourage winemakers to come along and share any ideas, concerns, or challenges they face in winemaking. More opportunities will be made for other regions throughout the year.
Register for the workshop by emailing sachi.rana@bri.co.nz. More information available here: https://www.nzwine.com/en/events/research/winemakers-workshops/
Pinot Noir Explored
Hosted by Lallemand Oenology New Zealand, this will be a series of insights and tastings from local and international speakers, presenting how we can keep the flavoursome characters of Pinot Noir and at the same time enhance the regional expression.
Fermentis Academy
Bragato Research Institute and the Fermentis team are pleased to invite you to join the Fermentis Academy, to share the latest information and answer your questions about yeast and fermentation in winemaking.
Beyond Vineyard Ecosystems: Growing for the Future
Join BRI in Christchurch for a two-day technical conference, marking the conclusion of the seven-year Vineyard Ecosystems research programme. This event highlights research learnings, spin-off projects and grower considerations for practice change, as well as placing the programme research into an international context. If you’re a decision-maker for a vineyard, winery or operations, it’s an event you won’t want to miss.
