Calling all Associate Judges & Stewards

It is our pleasure to welcome Stu Marfell as our Chief Judge of the Marlborough Wine Show 2023. 

Applications are now open for Associate Judge and Stewarding positions. These positions are open to all members within the Marlborough Wine Industry and are open to all areas of the Industry (not just winemaking roles). Applications for both Associate Judge and stewarding positions close 5pm, Friday 25th August 2023.

2023 DATES

25 August - Steward and Associate Judge Applications due
24 August - Entries open
14 September - Entries close
18 September - Labels sent to entrants for attaching to judging samples
2 October - Wine samples for judging to be received
16 October - Legacy Judging
18-20 October - Judging at Marlborough Convention Centre
20 October - Industry tasting
27 October - Results notified to entrants
9 November - Delivery deadline of gold medal wines for celebration
17 November - Celebration of the Marlborough wine industry and announcement of the Marlborough Wine Show trophies
