Wine Tourism Steering Group

The role of the Wine Tourism Steering Group (WTSG) is to provide guidance to Wine Marlborough Ltd and Destination Marlborough to advance the Wine Visitor Strategy of the Destination Management Plan.

The purpose is to:

  • Represent the approximately 30 + Marlborough Cellar Doors.

  • Promote a collaborative working relationship and enhance partnerships within cellar doors and between Wine Marlborough, Destination Marlborough, Tourism Operators, Cruise, Cycling  and other advisory groups in the Destination Management plan (e.g. event, conference, cruise, wine & food experiences).

  • Work together to improve wine tourism experiences and solve shared challenges.
